The Delhi Police will question South Africa batsman Herschelle Gibbs [Images], who will arrive in Delhi by the middle of this week, on "all aspects" of his role in the 2000 match-fixing case.

"Gibbs, who is yet to face the investigators in the high-profile scandal, will be asked as to who had contacted him, what was the information sought and who all were involved in the entire match-fixing episode?" police sources said in Delhi on Monday.

Though the date of his questioning is not yet fixed, senior police officials said they have prepared a detailed questionnaire and are awaiting intimation from the star batsman on when he will be available for questioning.

"We are ready. It is up to him when he can make himself available to us for questioning. So far we have not heard anything from him or his lawyers," a senior Crime Branch official said.

Gibbs, who is scheduled to arrive in Delhi on October 12 for the ICC [Images] Champions Trophy along with two of his lawyers, has already indicated that he will appear for questioning before the Delhi Police.

He had skipped tours of India in the past fearing detention ever since the controversy broke out. The Delhi Police has been waiting to lay hands on him to complete their probe.

Gibbs and teammate Nicky Boje were named in the probe by the Delhi Police, who blew the lid on the scandal after tapping a phone conversation of late South Africa skipper Hansie Cronje [Images] during his team's tour of India in 2000.

Gibbs has already served a six-month ban, slapped by South African cricket authorities, while Boje denied any wrong-doing. Both of them had answered a detailed questionnaire by the Delhi Police in 2004.
