Off-colour in the series against the West Indies [Images], Irfan Pathan [Images] seems determined to find his rhythm and form and the Baroda seamer sweated it out for about two hours this morning at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) ahead of the Indian team's fitness camp in Bangalore from Tuesday.
Pathan arrived in Bangalore on Friday for a brief session at the NCA ahead of the fitness camp for next month's tri-series in Sri Lanka [Images].
The southpaw came to the NCA on Saturday morning and practiced under the guidance of Indian team's assistant coach and bio-mechanist Ian Frazer.
After a moral boosting Test series win against the Windies, the Indian team is gearing up for the series in Sri Lanka, which involves South Africa [Images] as the third party.
Pathan has been struggling with his form and the seamer was picked for just one Test against the West Indies. His one-day form was not very encouraging either as he finished with six wickets from four matches against Brian Lara's [Images] side.
His dwindling form even fuelled speculation about a possible exclusion from the Indian team for the tri-series but the selectors reposed their faith on the pacer and kept him in the squad.
