Haryana were in a spot of bother after being reduced to 176 for six in their first innings in reply to Karnataka's 371 in their Ranji Trophy Elite Group match in Mysore on Saturday. Resuming at 301 for six, Karnataka were dismissed after the addition of 70 runs, with Thilak Naidu top-scoring with a fine knock of 84. For Haryana, Joginder Sharma grabbed four wickets for 101 runs, while Sanjay Badhwar scalped three for 49. Haryana batsmen found the going tough and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. At stumps, Mahesh Rawat was unbeaten on 28 and Sachin Rana was not out on 22.
