Indian seamer Irfan Pathan [Images] put behind injury fears and took the field for Middlesex in the four-day Frizzell County Championship Division One, 2005 match against Glamorgan in London [Images] on Wednesday.

Pathan, who sustained shoulder injury during the team's last match against Surrey, however failed to give his team the necessary breakthrough in his first 12 overs as Glamorgan made a solid start.

Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly [Images], off spinner Harbhajan Singh [Images] and Dinesh Mongia were also representing their respective counties in the four-day matches, which began on Wednesday.
