Should Ahmedabad be a venue for the India-Pakistan game? February 10, 2005 11:24 IST With barely a fortnight left for the Pakistan team to arrive in India for a three-Test and five One-Day International series, the Board of Control for Cricket in India yet to finalise the venues for the Tests. The BCCI had announced that Mohali, Ahmedabad [Images] and Bangalore would stage the Tests, but after a two-member assessment team from the Pakistan Cricket Board, Pakistan has refused to play in Ahmedadabad, which witnessed horrific communal riots that left several hundred people dead nearly three years ago. Former BCCI president Raj Singh Dungarpur says the PCB must be under 'political pressure' for not wanting to play in Ahmedabad and its request for a change in venue should be considered. What do you feel? Should the venue for the Test be changed from Ahmedabad to Chennai or Mumbai [Images]? Tell us!
