Australia fast bowler Michael Kasprowicz said his dismissal, which cost his side the second Test against England [Images] by two runs, would probably remain with him for the rest of his life.
"I will probably leave [Edgbaston] with the most vivid memory that I will replay in my mind for the rest of my life," he told reporters in Birmingham, on Sunday after his gallant 20.
"There's maybe a sense of pride but initially there's disappointment. In a lot of ways it's cruel to get that close and just miss out in the end."
The 33-year-old Kasprowicz, batting at 11, and Brett Lee [Images] (43 not out) put on 59 for the final wicket to get Australia to 279 with 282 needed for victory on the fourth morning.
Then England strike bowler Steve Harmison produced a sharp delivery which Kasprowicz gloved behind.
Kasprowicz only played in the match after Glenn McGrath was injured just before the start. It was a dramatic end to an enthralling game which levelled the five-match series at 1-1. The third Test starts at Old Trafford on Thursday.
Lee, who had earlier been struck on the hand following a barrage of short-pitched deliveries, was asked about the injury.
"I'm hurting more here," he said, pointing to his heart.
