South Africa captain Graeme Smith (right) congratulates fast bowler Makhaya Ntini after he dismissed India's Rahul Dravid during the fifth and final day of the first Test at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on Wednesday.
Dravid played a subdued innings of 54 off 179 balls before he was caught by wicketkeeper Thami Tsolekile.
India were bowled out for 466, giving South Africa a first innings lead of 44 runs.
The match ended in a draw as South Africa reached 169 for 4 in their second innings before play was called off.
