Baisya and Manjural Islam Rana (69) made a partnership of 69 runs for the ninth wicket and had taken the challenge into the fourth day of the Test.
Baisya was the first man out on Monday as Bangladesh crashed to their fourth successive innings defeat.
India thrashed Bangladesh by an innings and 140 runs to gain a 1-0 lead in the two Test match series.
