Off-spinner Muthiah Muralitharan joined the elite club of bowlers who have claimed 300 or more wickets in one-day internationals. The Sri Lankan achieved the feat against England in the 8th match of the ongoing VB series in Australia.

The only other bowlers to achieve the feat are Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Anil Kumble.
