Tendulkar needs 162 runs to go past Allan Border as the highest run-scorer in India-Australia Test matches.

He has aggregated 1406 runs in 15 Test matches, at 54.07, against Australia, with six centuries. Border scored 1567 runs in 20 Tests against India, at 52.23, with four centuries.
