The World Anti-Doping Agency has slammed the Australian Cricketers Association for its role in getting disgraced legspinner Shane Warne, who is serving a one-year suspension for using banned drugs, to play in charity matches and train with the Australian national side.
"It (the ACA) is doing everything in its power to allow a cheater to play. It is absolutely anti-ethical and against the spirit of the game," WADA chairman and International Olympic Committee representative Richard W Pound said.
