Ganguly fit for final Test
against West Indies

India captain Sourav Ganguly, who suffered a back injury during the second Test against the West Indies in Madras last week, will be fit for the final match of the series, starting on Wednesday.

"My back is okay, it's absolutely fine," Ganguly told reporters on Saturday.

Ganguly had hurt his lower back when he collided with Anil Kumble as both of them went for a catch on the final day of the Madras Test.

The skipper said he is aiming to score a maiden century in front of his home crowd in Kolkata.

"It has always been my dream to score a Test century at Kolkata," he said. "It's my hometown and I just want to score a 100 at the Eden Gardens."

Ganguly has scored just one half-century in four Tests at Kolkata, where he averages only 26.14.

India have already clinched the Test series 2-0 and if Ganguly leads his team to another victory he would equal Mohammad Azharuddin as India's most successful captain, with 14 Test victories.
