Ryan Hinds to return home

West Indies batsman Ryan Hinds will miss the remainder of the India tour. He is being flown back home after he sustained a knee injury, team manager Ricky Skerrit said in Vadodara on Monday.

Hinds, who did not play in any of the matches in the Tests or one-day series against India, will be replaced by fast bowler Jermaine Lawson.

"Ryan Hinds will be returning home in the next couple of days. He will be replaced by Jermaine Lawson," Skerrit informed.

Skerrit said Ryan Hinds is also likely to miss the upcoming tour of Bangladesh. The West Indies, who play two Tests and three one-dayers in Bangladesh, will also be without their captain Carl Hooper, who is to undergo treatment for a knee injury at the same time.
