Letter of the Day

November 7, 2002

If it ain't broken, dont fix it!

Have the India cricket think-tank ever heard of the phrase "If it ain't broken, dont fix it"? Appears not.

Why else whould they drastically change a winning one-day combination by including JP Yadav, excluding the well established Dinesh Mongia and having Agarkar in the team?

Also, there was no need for any pinch hitter as Indian batting lineup is very strong with Dravid's dual role as a wicket-keeper.

It was only fitting that Agarkar lost the match on the last ball from us,even after 150 plus internationals he cannot improve. God Help Him.

It's a pity we are losing to the Windies who are being crushed by every side in the world
