Murali tops bowler ratings
Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan's 13-wicket haul in the second Test against Zimbabwe put him on top of the world bowling ratings for the first time on Monday.
Muralitharan, who replaces Australia's Glenn McGrath at number one, also currently tops the one-day ratings.
Following Australia's 3-0 Test whitewash of South Africa, Matthew Hayden heads a pack of four Australian batsmen in the top 10.
Hayden moved up to fourth to overtake Steve Waugh (6th), while Justin Langer (9th) and Damien Martyn (10th) have also hit their career-best point levels.
