Tendulkar, Srinath to skip Challenger Trophy

The squads for the Hero Honda NKP Salve Trophy (Challenger Trophy) which will take place from 10 - 13 January 2002 between India Senior, India 'A' and India 'B' have been announced.

Sachin Tendulkar and Javagal Srinath are the only two current Indian team players not playing in the tournament. Ganguly will also miss two games and will play only if the team gets to the final. Laxman will lead India Senior in his absence
