To win a Test series, where no team from Down Under has won in 31 years. That was the goal Steve's Waugh-riorrs had set themselves. And so they came, full of hope and expectation.

When they left, it was with the knowledge that it would be September of 2004 before they get another crack at the 'Last Frontier'.
