I have a suggestion... if the gurus really want to popularise Classical Indian Music, given the fast pace of life, shouldn't you think of a system of notation so others too can play this music ? The Guru-Shishya system is the best of course , but what about us lesser mortals who would like to make music for our own pleasure?
