Motorola first launched this phone in India and is yet to announce the pricing for the phone for the rest of the world.

The screen is slightly shorter than Moto G. The newly launched cheaper handset comes with a 4.3-inch screen whereas Moto G has a 4.5-inch screen.

While Moto E comes with a resolution of 540 x 960 qHD, the Moto G has a HD display (1280 x 720 Pixels).

The biggest compromise, probably, for Moto E user will be the lack of front camera. The low-cost cost does not come with a secondary camera, which means the phone will not support video calls.

Moto E also lacks Hall Effect Sensor and Magnetometer, according to the specifications stated on the seller’s website.

According to early reviews, Moto E feels bulkier than the Moto G. Reviewers also felt that it’s a good bet as it offers the latest Android in the low-cost category. The phone, however, feels basic compared to Moto G.

It will be a good buy if you want to use basic social apps and light gaming. And seems a good option compared to Nokia Lumia 525 (Rs 9,169) and Nokia X (Rs 7,049).
