Micromax announced the launch to its first 3D phone - Micromax A115 Canvas 3D for Rs 9,999. This is the fourth member of its flagship Canvas range. Canvas 3D will hit the stores in first week of May.
The device does not require users to don the pesky 3D glasses to view the content on its large 5-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 800. It also allows the users to convert regular pictures into 3D picture format.

The phone is powered by MediaTek's 1GHz dual core processor. The RAM on the phone is 512GB, lower than what the company offers on other recent Canvas series phones.
Internal memory of the phone is 4GB and it comes loaded with Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean).

Packed with a 2,000-mAh battery, the phone offers a talk time of 4.5 hours. It sports a 5MP rear camera with auto focus and features a 0.3MP front camera that can be used for video chat.
For 3D content, the phone comes with 'Micromax 3D Space', which allows users to access 3D videos and pre-loaded 3D games.
