With the Rupee crashing to a record low of nearly 59/dollar, it has become one of the worst performing currencies in Asia.
The rupee on Tuesday fell by a whopping 74 paise to hit a new all-time low of 58.90.
The rupee has fallen by more than 8 per cent since May this year.
