Technology companies dominate India’s most attractive brands' list. A report by Trust Research Advisory rates brands based on the 36 traits of the 'Attraction Quotient' across four large appeal sets - rational, emotional, aspirational and communication.

Samsung Mobiles

Samsung Mobiles is ranked as the most attractive brand in the personal gadgets category as well.
Samsung handsets have scored in terms of features, quality and competitive pricing.
With 31.5 per cent market share in India, Samsung topped with revenues of Rs 11,328 crore (Rs 113.28 billion) in 2012-13 as compared to Rs 7,891 crore (Rs 78.91 billion) in FY12.
Founded by Lee Byung-chul in 1938 as a trading company, Samsung entered the electronics industry in the late 1960s.

A dominant player in India, Finnish telecommunication giant Nokia has 27.2 per cent market share.
Nokia’s revenues from Indian operations stood at Rs 9,780 crore (Rs 97.80 billion) as compared to Rs 11,925 crore (Rs 119.25 billion) in FY12, according to a Voice & Data Survey.
Nokia was the world's largest vendor of mobile phones from 1998 to 2012. However, Nokia has received a setback with rivals Samsung and Apple launching a wide range of smartphones, denting its fortunes in India.
Incorporated in 1871, Nokia was founded by Fredrik Idestam and Leo Mechelin.
