Google has been ranked as the best company to work for in India in a survey conducted by Business Today and PeopleStrong HR Services.
Interestingly, around 37 per cent of the employees surveyed feel that career and growth prospects make a company a great place to work for.
The Business Today survey reveals only 13 per cent employees feel that their companies provide excellent career and growth opportunities and 42 per cent feel that their companies fail in providing growth and development.
While 27 per cent of the employees feel that salary and perks are most important aspect in their careers, only 11 per cent of the respondents feel that their companies are able to meet their expectations.
While employees from private companies accounted for 40 per cent of the respondents, 10 per cent were from the PSUs.
