The Indian stock market boom has seen the rise of many wealthy investors. However, some of the high profile companies have not lived up to the expectations of investors.

Over the last five years, some of big companies have crashed on the bourses, eroding investor wealth.

DLF and Reliance Communications are among the top companies whose market value has sharply fallen over the last five years, according to The Economic Times.

An ET analysis of companies with a valuation of over Rs 5,000 crore (Rs 50 billion) highlights India Inc's biggest wealth destroyers...
