Here's the Google Zeitgeist list of the most sought-after cars in India. Seven cars from different car manufacturers top the list.
These are apparently those cars which are most searched on the Internet by consumers in the country. One might as well take a quick guess at which car tops the list.
It might be an easy assumption for quite a few, but quite a few of you would not be able to tell which is the most coveted car among all the auto launches, in India, in 2011.
All the seven cars managed to attract enough fan base ever since their launch in quite a short time. So here's the list:

1. Hyundai EON
Hyundai EON was mainly targeted to topple Maruti Alto's dominance in the A-segment cars. Right from the beginning, the 'Fluidic' design has been the heart-throb.
Hyundai has managed to deliver the punch right against its arch rival Maruti India with the competitive Hyundai EON price of Rs 269,000 for the base variant combined with its smart good looks.

Honda Brio is the cheapest car till date from the Honda India.
After the massacre with the Honda Jazz pricing, Honda has been extremely careful while coming up with the Honda Brio price to place it at Rs 395,000 for its base variant.

Obviously it includes a certain give and take on the safety features on the car, which does not live up to the usual Honda line-up where the auto major stretched a lot to ensure high safety on its cars.
Not until the Honda Brio S (O) variant is the ABS, EBD or the airbags are included in the car. But it is the well conceptualized exterior that takes the cake.
