Onboard the stunning Midnight Rider

The luxurious Midnight Rider has a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the world's heaviest limousine.

An entertainment hotspot on wheels, it took seven years to build this 25 tonne, 416 square feet luxury on wheels.

The limousine which can accommodate 40 people has three lounges, five big screen televisions, a bar and a restroom. It also has satellite television and entertainment systems in place.

Owned and designed by Mike Machado, the limousine's exterior made of steel, and aluminum.

The interior is has been elegantly decorated by Mike's wife Pamela Bartholomew with wood, polished brass and beautiful fabrics.

One of the world's biggest limousines, The Midnight Rider was originally conceived and designed in 1986.

It is 70 feet long and 13 feet high.

The mighty Midnight Rider has four levels to move about and, an on board restroom facility, air conditioning and heating options as well.

An onboard phone system is available besides four landline connections and a security monitoring system.

The Midnight Rider is licensed by the Public Utilities Commission and operated by Irontree Management as a 'Tractor-Trailer Limousine' and has been taking passengers since June 2005.

A crew of five including 2 drivers are onboard. The travel plans are customised according to the passengers' preferences.

The limousine goes on excursions to California's wine country, the West Coast, Vegas, besides hosting parties onboard.

Based in Southern California, The Midnight Rider is hailed as a travelling celebrity.

It is the largest limousine available for hiring.
