The car employs a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 67bhp and 104Nm of peak torque mated to 5-speed manual transmission system.

The MPV has been launched in the Indonesian market with D, A, T and T optional variants and is heading towards the Indian shores.

It seems that Nissan’s Datsun brand has pretty much understood the Indian mindset. Recently, they launched GO hatchback keeping the price and mileage quotient in mind.

Looking at the sales figure of March 2014 (2068 units) and April 2014 (2690 units), Datsun GO has done a pretty decent job.

But since Datsun is a new brand in the Indian subcontinent, the upcoming MPV has to bear the brunt of proficient players in the market. Hope the car could stand against the test of times.
