On October 13, 2011 Korean auto major, Hyundai Motors launched Hyundai Eon mainly to target the A segment cars in India.
The auto giant has invested a whopping Rs 900 crore (Rs 9 billion) on this project.
Hyundai India introduced the cheapest car from its fleet at an introductory price of Rs 269,000 for Hyundai Eon base variant D-Lite, while the top variant Era costs Rs 371,000.
Maruti India has offered best deal with Alto Xplore at a surprising price starting at Rs 232,000 which Hyundai Motors have failed to offer despite their extreme effort to keep the cost down.
