The Brand Trust Report has come out with a list of 1,000 Most Trusted Brands in India.
The report, a result of research conducted on 61 components with 2718 'influencer' respondents from 15 cities, generating more than two million data-points from 12,000 hours of study, lists the names of the companies that are most respected by Indians.

Nokia
India ranking: 1
Nokia Corporation is a Finnish multinational communications corporation headquartered in Keilaniemi, Espoo, a city neighbouring Helsinki.
It manufactures mobile electronic devices, mostly mobile telephones and other devices related to communications, and in converging Internet and communications industries, with 130,000 employees in 120 countries, sales in more than 150 countries.

It was the world's largest manufacturer of mobile phones in 2011, with global device market share of 23 per cent in the second quarter.
Nokia produces mobile devices for every major market segment and protocol, including GSM, CDMA, and W-CDMA.
Nokia offers Internet services such as applications, games, music, maps, media and messaging through its Ovi platform. Its joint venture with Siemens, Nokia Siemens Networks produces telecommunications network equipment, solutions and services.
