Wipro chairman Azim Premji calls on Modi

Wipro chairman Azim Premji on Thursday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The official statement did not mention more details about the meeting.

Modi has been meeting business leaders regarding initiatives such as 'Digital India' and 'Make in India'.

A few days ago Softbank Chairman and CEO Masayoshi Son also met the Prime Minister and committed investment to the tune of $10 billion in India.

Facebook co-founder and one of the world's youngest billionaires Mark Zuckerberg had also met Modi to discuss digital expansion in the country.
