Tata Consultancy Services announced on Tuesday the extension of its Regional Support Centre in Dubai to its core banking customers in West Asia.
The Dubai centre, which earlier supported the capital market customers, is now geared to provide on-call services and any emergency support needed in the region to its core banking customers as well, a company statement said.
With more than 30 TCS Financial Solutions customers in West Asia, this regional support center is a significant step in addressing the needs of our customers, the company said.
Faster response to customer needs, enhanced resource availability and more localized disaster recovery services for clients are the benefits of the support center. The company has another regional center in Johannesburg , South Africa.
These regional support centers also perform back up functions as disaster recovery hubs to the global support center in India, the company said.
