September 05, 2014 16:29 IST

With festive season just around the corner, Toyota Kirloskar has launched Innova Limited Edition 2014 which boasts having amazing features and a majestic look.

Toyota is a car that has been riding on the success chariot since it was first launched in the year 2005.

In a bid to continue the same success story in India, the Japanese car maker has launched a Limited Edition (LE) of Innova with a few cosmetic and interior changes.

The new variant incorporates company's popular advance D-4D diesel engine technology that maximises performance resulting in good fuel economy and excellent power build-up.

Exteriors of Innova always charm the onlookers but this new version has additional features to further impress car lovers.

It’s new bronze mica metallic colour will surely amaze all. Also, the new Innova LE is a perfect blend of space, style and features which satisfy travelling needs of a family.

Safety has always been the top priority for Toyota and this variant too has all the standard features along with the driver side airbag that will get into action whenever there is danger impending.

The LE variant has been launched at a price between Rs 12,90,000 and Rs 13,00,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Only 1500 of such units will be available for a limited period extending from September till November 2014.

In the MPV (mutli-purpose vehicle) segment, Toyota has been facing severe challenges from industry players in recent times.

The new Honda Mobilio is one of the competitors that is giving Toyota a tough time by eating away the latter's market share.

To beat competition, Innova is taking all efforts to spruce up its presence and is performing well in the market.

Quality and powerful engine is the backbone of this car while in terms of mileage, it has however not pleased the mileage quotient buyers so far.

N Raja, senior vice president and director, sales and marketing, Toyota India, said that the limited edition has been created to offer its customer a unique travelling experience.

In fact, some of the exclusive features have made this car improve its market share despite players like Mobilio are also present the foray.

Unquestionably, Innova has been one of the prettiest car ever produced.

With a proven track record it is still attracting the Indian buyers which is certainly not an easy job.

Well, festive season is round the corner and the auto maker is bullish on increasing sales by this initiative or marketing strategy as you may call it.
