Based on an all-new platform featuring extensive use of aluminium and carbon fibre, the Huracan has a kerb weight of 1,422 kg. It is powered by a retuned version of the Gallardo’s 5.2-liter V10 engine.

Making use of direct and in-direct turbocharging, the engine develops 610 PS (601.4 bhp) at 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm of torque. A 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox sends the power to all wheels.

Lamborghini claims that the Huracan takes 3.2 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h, and 9.9 seconds to do 0-200 km/h.

The top-speed is rated at 325 km/h, and under EU tests, the supercar delivers a fuel efficiency of 8 km/l while emitting 290 g/km of CO2.

The Huracan’s ground clearance of 135 mm can be raised to 175 mm to tackle bad roads and speed breakers. The car can travel at its heightened ground clearance up to a speed of 70 km/h.

Lamborghini is present in three cities in India (Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore). The cars are imported from its Sant’Agata factory in Bolognese, Italy. Deliveries of the Huracan start next month in India.
