Cricket is not what it used to be a few decades back.

The game has evolved over a period of time in terms of popularity and thus, garners more attention now.

More attention draws more money and that ultimately calls for expensive stuff.

One of the most expensive things that rich, young and popular cricketers have common among them is the love for cars and it is no surprise that quite a few of these cricketers make merry with all the fame and fortune.

Let us take a look at some of popular rides of cricketers…

MS Dhoni

It is no secret that the Indian captain loves automobiles, be it cars or bikes.

MS Dhoni owns Land Rover Freelander, Hummer H2, Mitsubishi Pajero SFX and Audi Q7.

But the most popular vehicle owned by the Indian skipper is the Hellcat which is a superbike, which he even tested on the Budh International circuit.

Other bikes owned by MS Dhoni include Yamaha RX, RXZ, Ducati 1098, Kawasaki ZX14R Ninja, Yamaha R100 Thundercat.

Virat Kohli

The most desirable bachelor in sports, Virat Kohli has as much passion for fast cars as he has an appetite for scoring runs.

The new test captain of the Indian team owns Audi R8 V10 which is one of the most desirable Audi coupe in the market.

Since Virat is a man who has developed quite impressive stats in batting, he would definitely love what this stunner manages to carve away with 541bhp power and 540Nm torque.

The vehicle can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds. Other cars owned by Virat Kohli includes Toyota Fortuner, BMW X-6, Audi Q7 and Renault Duster.

Michael Clarke

Australian cricket team captain and one of the most celebrated batsman of modern cricket, Michael Clarke also has much affection for cars.

His first car was 1991 Holden Gemini but among his personal favourite is Bentley Continental GT Super Sport.

He also owns a Black Range Rover, BMW X5 and Lexus LS600h.

Suresh Raina

The flamboyant left hand Indian batsman Suresh Raina is as tasteful in his selection of shots as he is with his choice of cars.

The middle order batsman owns a Porsche Boxter which is of the same yellow color as the jersey color of his IPS team, the Chennai Super Kings.

The vehicle holds some powerful specs underneath with its 3.4 litre engine garnering 326bhp power and uses a 7 speed dual clutch PDK transmission system.

Dale Steyn

Dale Steyn is said to be the best bowler in the world at the moment which is evident from the nick name that the South African front line seam bowler has earned for himself, the Steyn Gun.

The South African fast bowler likes his cars to be as fast as he bowls, which is evident from the Audi R8 he owns.

He also owns an Audi Q7 which cannot be called a slow car by any stretch of imagination.

Stuart Broad

Even though the current World Cup did not pan out the way English cricketers would have wanted it to be but that does mean that they have to sit at home and drown in their miseries.

The frontline English paceman Stuart Broad can certainly look for a getaway in his prestigious Range Rover Sport.

He also owns a luxurious Jaguar XKR.
