China has found a solution to cut down pollution and traffic woes with a futuristic elevated bus.
The unique transport system, TEB-1 hit the road in a trial run in Qinhuangdao, China’s northern Hebei province.
The 22-meter-long, 7.8-meter-wide and 4.8-meter-high bus can accommodate 300 passengers.
The 7 feet space of TEB-1 above the road allows cars and other small vehicles to drive under it.
The bus, which can travel at 40 miles per hour has two seats in the middle of the compartment and rows of seats on both sides.
It is designed to allow more passengers to stand. The bus also has traffic lights on all four corners.
