This will be Nadella’s second visit to Hyderabad after taking over as head of Microsoft last year.
Software giant Microsoft’s Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella would be in Hyderabad on Monday, as part of a four-day personal visit to the city where he grew up. He will visit T-Hub, the technology incubation facility set up by the Telangana government, on Monday.
“Nadella has requested us to keep his visit to T-Hub a low-key affair.
"Accompanied by Telangana information technology and panchayat raj minister KT Rama Rao, he will spend about one hour in the facility, interacting with the start-up entrepreneurs,” government officials said.
This will be Nadella’s second visit to Hyderabad after taking over as head of Microsoft last year.
A day before his visit to Delhi on September 30, 2014, Nadella addressed employees at the Microsoft India Development Centre in Hyderabad, the IT behemoth’s largest research and development centre outside its Redmond headquarters in the US.
According to the officials, Nadella is scheduled to have a breakfast meeting with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at the latter’s residence in Hyderabad.
“As part of its digital inclusion programme, the Andhra government is looking at implementing Azure, Microsoft’s enterprise-grade cloud computing platform, in education, agriculture and citizen services areas, on a pilot basis.
Nadella and Naidu will sign an agreement for the same during their meeting,” the officials said.
